    I have been going to Xcellent for years and have not had a negative experience. I agree there is a language barrier, but the receptionist in the front is always bilingual and will help you. The only negative I have is I miss Emily at the front desk but she works at the other location. I absolutely adore Tina, she washes my hair beautifully and places the color well. She makes me feel at home and if I ever have a complaint she makes sure to rectify it. Cindy and Jenny are great assistants as well. I trust Gary with my cuts and blowouts. He seems to be one of the most seasoned stylists there. Michael is great with blowouts as well. The prices are reasonable for the NYC area!

    I've been here quite a few times. I visit every three months for a hair trim[wash, cut, and blow]. Their pricing is very fair. I walk out spending less than $50 for everything. They always have someone available. I usually call the day of. I never have to wait. Everything is quick.
